Jerry Xu
Principal
Jerry Xu is a Principal on the investment team at ParaFi. Prior to joining ParaFi, Jerry served as Investment Lead at the Stellar Development Foundation (“SDF”), where he invested across early-to growth-stage companies through the Stellar Enterprise Fund. During his time at SDF, he served as a board observer for various portfolio companies and co-authored the paper, “Real-world assets in digital banking: Bridging traditional and digital finance,” published in the Journal of Digital Banking.
Before SDF, Jerry was a founding team member of Kepler Fi, a wholly owned investment and innovation subsidiary of GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. In this role, he helped lead investments, joint ventures, new business formation, and product launches across emerging technology themes, including machine learning, big data, and blockchain.
Jerry began his career in equity research at Citi, covering oil and gas MLPs. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting, cum laude, from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
